The Denison Strap is based on its namesake camouflage pattern design. First introduced in 1942, the Denison pattern smock was famously issued to British Commando & Parachute Units. The design itself was initially hand applied with mop like brushes in broad pea green & dark brown "strokes" on a sand twill base. The Haveston Denison strap pattern is redrawn in-house, to adapt its characteristic brush stroke design for a longitudinal strap profile. Featuring enhanced hole settings & tail tip reinforcements, it is equipped with a brushed buckle & is available in 20mm & 22mm. The Denison Strap pairs excellently with Field and Pilot pieces, monotone dials and vintage toned lume designs.
LAYOUT:A re-engineered one-piece strap layout outfitted with Haveston's signature secondary floating keeper, which allows the spare tail to be stowed without the need for folding back (unless desired), and repositioned 7 o'clock buckle to deliver greater comfort and enhanced aesthetics.
As part of Haveston's ongoing commitment to continuous refinement, this 'A2' (Alteration 2) straps are also equipped with a single-pass layout for a streamlined wearing profile and reduced 'off-wrist' height while retaining the security of a one-piece layout to protect against spring-bar failure.
For watches with a limited springbar to case clearance, install bars over the strap, or consider curved bars. Do not force strap through, as this may deteriorate strap, bars and case.
